About My Flyfishing Guide Service
We specialize in teaching the fundamentals of fly fishing (outfitting
yourself with correct rod type, line, weight etc along with casting
instructions, reading water, proper wading techniques, selecting
the proper fly) as well as guiding the hard core predator type angler.
We are seeing more and more women on the streams and if you
have thought about learning the sport we can help. My wife is an
accomplished flyfisher person and can pick up where I leave off.
We are blessed with over 320 acres out our back door and we can
take your family on a hike, brook trout fishing on our private section
of stream, and cook up some fresh fish at our Adirondack style lean
to along the stream. That same paradise is a snowshoer's delight
in mid winter. If hiking is part of your trip we can help there
also. Filming for our show has taken us to some beautiful mountains
large and small so we will know how to accommodate your needs, just
give us a call at 518- 897-1011.

Products & Services
We provide expertly guided flyfishing in the form of Walk/Wade trips on the Ausable River, Chateaguay River, Salmon River in Malone and some other lesser known and unmentionable, but equally productive trout streams in the Adirondacks. These streams are ranked among the top streams in the Northeast and compare to some of the best Western streams in many ways. On our guided trips, we provide all custom tied flies, and rental equipment is available, if necessary. Additionally, we can provide the same expert level of instruction in fly casting and entomology. We have an instructional program which has been very popular. It consists of a half day of instruction and a half day of fishing on any of the three rivers. The instruction is very comprehensive and covers:
- Casting instruction and practice
- Equipment, knots, flies, entomology, methods, and more...
We will provide all equipment, i.e. rod, reel, line, flies, (except waders) as part of the course. Additionally, we will provide breakfast and lunch for you. Let us put you in this picture with the grace and agility of a beautiful cast.
