Adirondack Trails “Inside The Blue Line” is an outdoor television show that seeks to promote the wise stewardship of the natural resources and environment of the Adirondack Park with a responsible attitude towards outdoor activities. Devoted to everyone who enjoys the great outdoors, Adirondack Trails is a half hour weekly series that travels “within the blue line” covering a wide variety of outdoor activities and at times controversial topics. The goal of Adirondack Trails “Inside The Blue Line” is to bring viewers closer to an understanding and a respect for all forms of outdoor recreation. By traveling this 6 million acre park viewers will be introduced to the many forms of recreational pursuits and the varied ecosystem within it. It will also provide an opportunity for the seasoned outdoors person to view something when they cannot be there themselves.

Viewers are taken to all parts of the Park in all four seasons to help them understand and appreciate the natural resources with in it. While fishing and hunting will play a role in some of our seasons shows, we will also be hiking up some of the over 1500 miles of trails and canoeing the thousands of miles of waterway with in the Park. We will look at the great camps and find out what makes them so great. In that the Adirondack park is a patchwork of public and private lands we will look at some of the controversies surrounding the park like ATV and snowmobile use as well as the possibilities of a hiking permit system for the high peaks area. I believe our popularity will stem from a broad scope such as this.

Our show will hope to inform, to entertain but above all excite our viewers.
